WWT have an opportunity for an experienced Network Security technology expert to join our team as a Pre-Sales Network Security Solutions Architect.
You will have in depth knowledge and valuable experience of Network Security technology and have broad knowledge of the ecosystem players. You will also need to be able to evangelise and create a narrative for the customer based on this expertise. The ability to credibly face off to Senior Customer / OEM Engineering leads and Executives as well as being able to tailor conversations effectively for the intended audience during sales meetings is crucial for success of this role.
With solid experience of Network Security based technology you will be capable of creating and publishing subject matter content that can be utilized by WWT to raise our profile and also elevate yourself within the industry.
Responsibilities:
+ IT infrastructure design and architecture
+ Attend and lead customer business meetings with and without Account Executives
+ Develop and maintain customer relationships
+ Present and hold technology conversations with senior members of the customer
+ Serve as the technical liaison to not just our customers but also internally to WWT
+ Engaging effectively with the Global Accounts field sales team in support of customer pursuits, to advance sales campaigns and build rapport with customer contacts
+ Building strong relationships in the UK region with WWT's key OEM partners to foster collaboration and field level engagement
+ Achieving and maintaining required technology certifications and competencies \u2028
+ Delivering & Developing Effective Customer & Partner Presentations \u2028
+ Leading and Presenting during Demand Generation Events \u2028
+ Strategising on customer penetration plans and the overall growth of the UK market
+ Recognise, support and assist in the scope and pricing of Professional Services work
+ Ability to travel in and outside the UK
Qualifications
+ Proven track of record to support sales teams in selling multi-million dollars solutions (Hardware, software and Services)
+ 10+ years of pre-sales and post-sales, technical or customer experience
+ Experience Consulting in Enterprise infrastructure environments, ideally at the Fortune 500 level.
+ Experience of projects in at least one key market vertical, examples including Global Finance, Pharmaceuticals, Retail
+ Fully valid High-Level Technical Certification (For example - CCIE certification) or equivalent demonstrable skill set within their specialisation
+ Experience of and Ability to, Independently Architect and create High-Level/Low-Level Designs within their Area of Specialisation. Examples may be requested
+ Demonstrate Solid Teamwork and Peer Collaboration
+ Experience with an OEM Partner at "Gold" level or equivalent is preferable.
+ Bachelor's Degree preferred, equivalent experience considered
+ Strong pre-sales technical skills, and some hands-on skills, in one or more of
+ Voice and Video collaboration
+ Core and Edge networking
+ DataCentre infrastructure (CI, HCI, Compute, Storage)
+ Big Data and Analytics
+ Enterprise Security/ Cyber-Security
+ Data/Object Storage
+ Virtualisation (VDI/VSI)
+ Network Security Technologies or DevOps
