Business Development Support

  • Support building and growing pipeline of opportunities for the Region.
  • Work with the SDR team in training, developing messaging and support lead generation.
  • Responsible for driving the growth of solutions in the region by working with local sales teams and other Solutions Engineers and Industry Consultants, through account plans and opportunities.
  • Responsible for building & driving initiatives required to support the growth of revenue within by working with local sales teams through account plans and opportunities.
  • Leveraging, adopting and execution of GTM packages where solutions are part of the package.
  • Be able to articulate the context of how our solution can help achieve customer outcomes
  • Work closely with Industry Consultants in training & establishing the value of our products in various industries.
  • Develop messaging for solutions, with focus on key differentiator

SME/Technical Pre-Sales

  • Provide Subject Matter Expertise and the central point of contact for solutions in the region for pre-sales engagements.
  • Develop repeatable demonstration systems and content for solutions, or to a specific client’s requirements.
  • Support key customer engagements in delivering Proof of Concepts or Pilots for solutions.
  • Work with new and/or existing clients to define their requirements, qualifying the fit of solutions and defining roadmap together with other members of the opportunity team.
  • Provide support in the development of Sales proposals & estimates for solutions.
  • Provide technical content for tenders and RFxsas well as assist with benchmarks.
  • Liaise with Services teams to provide feedback to the product managers on field and customer requirements.
  • Work with Services team in reviewing technical and scoping documents and liaison the knowledge transfer of sales to services.
  • Liaise with solution engineers in other regions for lessons learned and best practice sharing.
  • Attend trade shows, seminars and user conferences and be capable of presenting technical papers, demonstrations and presentations.

  • Degree qualification in engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent industry experience.
  • Technical and subject matter expertise in Enterprise Project Control/Management in the areas of:
  • Develop Project Charter
  • Develop Project Management Plan
  • Direct and Manage Project Execution
  • Monitor and Control Project Work
  • Perform Integrated Change Control
  • Closer Project or Phase
  • Engineering lifecycle process from design through handover
  • Asset lifecycle information management.

Skills and Abilities

  • Customer service experience.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work in a team and to work independently with key clients as required.
  • Confident in presenting to a group in a client environment as well as at shows and seminars.
  • Good project planning and specification and estimation skills, together with strong analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to develop realistic project plans.
  • Confident working with Enterprise client IT personnel and managers to determine system architecture and design needs.
  • Strong abilities and experience in project controls practices and procedures:
    • Provide project control support to successfully plan and execute assigned projects.
    • Determine key performance indicators to improve project operational efficiency.
    • Determine project forecasts and accruals and monitor cash flow projections.
    • Work with Management in developing project plan, schedule and budget.
    • Oversee change order management and implement change requests.
    • Monitor project progress to identify and correct delays or deviations.
    • Monitor project status on regular basis and develop status reports to management.
  • Good knowledge of Project Management Best Practice regarding API, PMI, AXELOS and others.
  • Desirable: Good working knowledge of Hexagon PPM’s solutions, preferentially EcoSys.
  • Typical Experience: At least 5 years’ experience with 2+ years of Project Management
