Job Description

This candidate would play a critical role in a small start-up team within an established technology company that is radically changing the future of work. We are looking for an ambitious, charismatic and hard-working individual who can work with C-level executives in Fortune 500 companies to adopt the Freelancer Enterprise platform. In the role you will also partner with leading research institutes like Harvard and motivate internal cross-functional stakeholders to drive organizational change, while acting as a thought-leader in the crowdsourcing and freelancing fields. The ideal candidate will also possess great problem-solving skills to provide solutions and recommendations that will increase profitability and efficiency within client organizations.

The candidate will be brought to the HQ in Sydney for training with legal, product and engineering teams, in addition to travelling up to 50% of the time to the US, Europe or Asia to meet in-person with key clients.


  • Generate sales leads, close deals and deliver long-term value for enterprise engagements and partnerships
  • Manage initiatives and projects to add value to client organizations and grow Gross Marketplace Volume over time
  • Work with C-level executives in Fortune 500 clients and partner with leading institutes like Harvard on research in this space
  • Work cross-functionally with inhouse recruiters, success managers, customer support, product teams, engineering, legal, finance and executives to drive initiatives
  • Own the client relationship and engagement cycle (Qualify, Demo, Pilot, Contracting, Educating, Scaling) from lead generation to 12 months after a contract is signed
  • Hold retrospectives and sprints to manage initiatives and improve results over time, while providing guidance to clients
  • Create and execute innovative plans to drive education, engagement and product adoption - scale crowdsourcing and freelancing efforts within client organizations
  • Develop thought-leadership materials, client presentations, case studies and research to enable sales efforts
  • Learn the products and services offered, including legal terms and engineering requests
  • Be a key member of building and executing the go-to-market strategy of this new team, taking it to a $100M business in two years

  • Experience handling significantly sized accounts
  • Business solutions, technical consulting, or sales solutions experience
  • Digital Transformation experience within large-scale enterprise environments
  • Experience working with the technology and managed services industry, specifically handling significantly sized accounts
  • Experience developing winning sales solutions and proposals
  • Ability to work with a broad range of customers to develop complex technical and business solutions.
