Summary:



The objective of the Solution Consultant is to be the trusted advisor when presenting the NetSuite solution to prospects during the sales process. An ability to understand business process flows, with strong business acumen and presentation skills, is essential for success in this role. The focus of this role is on converting opportunities in the “Emerging Market” segment at a high volume and high-velocity cadence.



The Solution Consultant’s role is to add value throughout the sales process in the areas of requirements analysis, solution mapping, process presentations, in-depth product demonstrations and effectively transitioning the account over to professional services for seamless activation. As a member of the Solution Consulting team, you will work in tandem with the sales organisation to meet monthly, quarterly and annual quota objectives.



Responsibilities:




  • Support sales opportunities for Core ERP requirements focussing on Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, Sales Orders, Purchase Orders, Inventory and CRM

  • Clearly articulate the benefits of NetSuite’s applications to all levels including line of business managers and “C” level executives

  • Provide input to other cross-functional departments on prospect requests and product enhancements as needed

  • Maintain account and opportunity updates within our internal sales force automation system to manage and prioritise sales opportunities

  • Develop, present and deliver high-impact demonstrations of the NetSuite solution, either on-site or via the web daily.


Qualifications/Skills:




  • 2 – 4 years comparable pre-sales position supporting the sales cycle for deals in finance and ERP applications or relevant experience in accounting/finance, supply chain

  • Relevant industry experience (manufacturing, wholesale & distribution or retail) is an asset

  • Excited to work in a fast-paced environment with structured training (and regular feedback!) that quickly transitions to an autonomous, client-facing position

  • Enjoy tackling complicated problems and finding the right solutions

  • Intelligent, motivated and competitive with a “roll-up-the-sleeves” and “get the job done” attitude

  • High energy self-starter with a positive can-do attitude

  • Solid presentation, communication and interpersonal skills

  • Prior application experience in one or more of the following is highly desirable:

    • SAP,

    • Epicor,

    • Microsoft Dynamics

    • MYOB

    • Sage

    • Xero

    • QuickBooks

    • Pronto

    • Infor



  • BA/MBA or equivalent applicable work experience

  • Fluent in English

  • A permanent resident with full work permit
Provides direction and specialist knowledge in applying the technology/application to client business. Facilitation of customer product/application understanding through presentations demonstrations and benchmarks; provision of support throughout the sell.

As a Staff Sales Consultant you will be responsible for providing presales technical / functional support to prospective clients and customers while ensuring customer satisfaction. Develop and deliver high quality standard Oracle presentations and demonstrations. Present and articulate Oracle product*s strengths, features, benefits, and competitive advantages. Design, validate, and present Oracle software solutions to include advanced product concepts, future direction, and 3rd party complimentary products.

Duties and tasks are standard with some variation. Completes own role largely independently within defined policies and procedures.3 - 5 years business experience preferred; vendor experience also preferred. 3 years relevant computer applications or database/tools preferred. Demonstrated proficiency in one multi-user operating system. Knowledge of system and application design preferred. Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills. Ability to travel as needed. BA/BS degree or equivalent preferred.
