Solutions Engineering is at the forefront of the entire Marketing Cloud technology landscape. This collaborative team works closely with sales to uncover real business problems faced by customers and prospects to develop solutions and processes to not only overcome these obstacles but also deliver phenomenal digital transformation. You will be responsible for partnering with Account Executives to deliver business value-based solutions, firmly positioning Salesforce as the partner of choice.An awesome Solution Engineer is seen as the trusted advisor, and they focus on the following key areas:
+ Discovery: Work closely with business stakeholders and technical resources to understand how to make marketers/advertisers successful and to address pain points in their current efforts.
+ Design: Create innovative solutions which demonstrate how connected experiences come to life with Salesforce Advertising capabilities.
+ Dance: Connect business requirements with Salesforce solutions technology to deliver presentations, demonstrations, workshops or whiteboarding sessions which engage a business/technical audience...no dancing required, occasionally some jazz-hands help though.
+ Digest: Stay up-to-date on product development and roadmap, industry trends, and industry news.
The basics:
+ Minimum 3+ years in Digital Advertising
+ Demonstrable understanding of ad technology ecosystem including (ad servers, DMPs, SSPs, DSPs, CDPs, etc), data and/or tag management platforms, web analytics tools (Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, etc.) and onsite personalisation solutions/Experience Managers (Optimizely, Sitecore, etc)
+ Understanding of country-specific AdTech dynamics across major markets in Asia
+ Familiarity with Facebook, Google & LinkedIn advertising platforms
+ Pre-sales consulting experience (RFP support, discovery, demonstration, POC, Solution Design)
+ Excellent presentation skills
The extra 1%:
+ Compelling story-teller
+ Familiarity with web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and web debugging tools
+ Understanding of mobile web and SDK solutions
+ Experience in Social Media advertising & Search, Display
+ Fluent in Mandarin, Cantonese or Indonesian
+ Knowledge of Marketing Clouds & Advertising Clouds
+ Analytics knowledge / visualisation tools
+ B. Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS or equivalent work experience
