For our location in Ulm we are looking for a "Project Sourcing Manager (m/f/d)" at the earliest possible date.
The department "Project Sourcing Spectrum Dominance and Airborne Solutions" of HENSOLDT Sensors GmbH is responsible for the procurement of projects as well as the handling of contracts from A-suppliers as Subcontractor Delivery Manager. This is done in cooperation with Category Management, Operational Purchasing and Supply Chain Quality.
Responsibility for the procurement of direct project-specific material for Spectrum Dominance and Airborne Solutions (SD & AS) at the Ulm location
Direct reporting line to the Head of Project Sourcing Spectrum Dominance and Airborne Solutions
Internal interfaces to the project or program managers of the SD & AS division, engineering, production and quality departments at the German locations
Tendering of project-specific materials, selection of suppliers and support in contract and price negotiations in accordance with the project budget; for simpler procurement projects sole contract negotiation
Close cooperation with the purchasing department of Category Management to determine the need for cross-sectional materials in compliance with the category strategy
Identification of savings potential from competitor analyses and support in the implementation at suppliers
Introducing comprehensive purchasing strategies into the project process (e.g. bundling in the purchasing network, category management)
Support in the analysis of the ELINT/COMINT supplier market and identification of new procurement sources (globalisation, offset etc.)
Coordination with other departments in ordering processes; active tracking of delivery dates according to the demand dates from the projects
Reporting of activities, risks, potentials etc. for the Operations department
The willingness to travel on business is assumed.
Completed studies in a technical or commercial field such as technical management, industrial engineering) or comparable
Experience in project purchasing of ELINT/COMINT products or in the aerospace or defence sector
Experience in the field of aircraft integration services is an advantage

Technical understanding of ELINT/COMINT systems or system architecture
Commercial and contractual negotiation experience
Knowledge of SAP ERP MM modules
Knowledge of public price law is an advantage
Knowledge of the P2P tool COUPA is advantageous
Good MS Office knowledge
Confident and competent appearance towards customers and business partners
High level of initiative and motivation
Distinct ability to work in a team as well as a quick grasp
