The Mansion Hotel & Spa by Lancemore is looking for friendly, experienced and well presented team member who will fit into our culture of delivering outstanding customer service. Currently we are looking to fill a position representing the front of house spa reception team.

About the role:

  • Make bookings via phone, internet and face to face.
  • Checks guests in and out of the spa.
  • Handle guest enquiries and provide information on spa and hotel services as required.
  • Assist guests with the purchasing and redemption of gift vouchers.
  • Host guests to change rooms and relaxation lounge.
  • Responsible for ensuring all payment transactions are correctly recorded and that the department balances at the end of each shift.
  • Communicate with team members to ensure a smooth guest experience.
  • Recommend additional services and retail products.
  • Conflict resolution and problem solving.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of the spa desk, change rooms, pool areas and relaxation lounge at all times.
  • Opening & closing of the department.
  • Maintain The Lancemore Group dress and grooming standards at all times.
  • Assist the spa manager and hotel management team with additional tasks as necessary.
  • Live the Mansion culture of striving to exceed our guests expectations at all times and having the "Yes We Can" attitude. 

About you:

  • Passionate about delivering exceptional guest satisfaction.
  • Be part of a team with exceptional employee engagement.
  • Prior exposure to the spa industry is an advantage though not essential.
  • Previous reception experience.
  • Positive & friendly disposition.
  • You thrive in a busy environment and multi-tasking comes naturally to you.
  • Confident at recommending additional services & home care to enhance the guest experience.
  • A natural problem solver who meets challenges head on.
  • Commitment with flexibility to work various shifts across mornings, evenings, weekends and public holidays.
  • Proactive and positive focus with a passion for the spa industry.
