- Provide specialized intelligence, sensitive, and compartmented special operations expertise and direct counsel to senior-level clients in direct support of the Under Secretary of Defense for Intelligence (USD(I&S)) and the Secretary of
- Provide day-to-day policy analysis and subject matter expertise in support of DoD sensitive special operations. Collects, prepares, organizes, coordinates, logs, tracks, conducts, briefs, and leads analysis of special operations in support of the statement of work.
- Provide experience-based, value-added operational perspective to senior policy decision makers on intelligence and special operations, while ensuring coordination with policy, legal, and operational counterparts.
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university
- Minimum of 7 years of experience within this functional area and experience on a major staff or Intelligence Agency, e.g. OSD, Joint Staff, Service Staff, Defense Agency or Combatant Command
- Active TS/SCI security clearance
Preferred Skills and Relevant Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years demonstrated experience with sensitive operations and mission integration. Experience shall include:
- Supporting the Intelligence Enterprise and the organizations and missions of OUSD(I&S), the Director National Intelligence (DNI), Joint Chiefs of Staff, Combatant Commands, Military Services, Defense Agencies, and/or the DoD IC.
- Hard Target intelligence analytic and collection challenges with depth in more than one country or region.
- Policy development, program oversight/guidance, capabilities development and resourcing requirements.
- Prepare staff actions with stated positions to advise and provide recommendations to senior leadership within the OUSD(I&S) and the Secretary of Defense.
