SigridAI is looking to hire ambitious, experienced, resourceful and tech-savvy Expense Management Specialist who are interested in joining a technology start-up based in Europe and Asia. This is a part home/part office-based position currently open to candidates based in Metro Manila, Philippines.

  • Do you live in Greater Manila Area?
  • Do you have experience working as an: Expense Management Specialist, Accounts Payable Specialist, or any role related to expense report preparation and generation?

  • Are you able to resolve issues and identify solutions through reports generation and data analysis?

  • Is your expected monthly salary level between PHP25,000 and PHP30,000?

You will be trained in using the MySigrid platform and other relevant technology tools, and you will undergo continuous training at our co-working days twice a week, where you will also have the opportunity to network, grow and learn from your colleagues.

  • Work closely with the Executive Assistants to provide accurate monthly expense reports and perform minor bookkeeping tasks for clients
  • Manage reconciliation of card statements and invoices or receipts
  • Extract invoices/receipts from client's online subscriptions.
  • Recommend improvements to streamline client's expense management processes
  • Maintain an accurate and updated profile of each client’s expense-related preferences.
  • Assist on finance-related projects or tasks that require spreadsheet expertise from time to time as requested by clients.
  • Build and maintain a good working relationship with the Sigrid.AI EAs, AEAs, and Specialists.


As a minimum, we expect candidates to meet the following requirements

  • 1 - 2 years' experience in an Finance Admin/Expense Management/Accounts Payable role in any industry.
  • A high level of spoken and written business English: ability to use the language fluently and accurately on all levels and as normally pertinent to professional needs, can understand and participate in any conversations within the range of own personal and professional experience with a high degree of fluency and precision of vocabulary and makes only quite rare and minor errors of pronunciation and grammar.
  • Excellent time management skills: knows how to prioritize work, and able to multi-task to get things done efficiently.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and other web-based applications, specifically Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.
  • Experience in using Rydoo, Xero, Concur and other web-based expense-related applications is a plus
  • Ability to work under pressure and multi-task, including understanding, prioritizing and handling multiple client requests if the need arises.
  • Tech-savvy and with the desire and ability to work in a fast-paced technology environment.
  • Excellent time management skills and with a strong sense of customer service.
  • Strong Analytical skills, highly resourceful and creative in finding and presenting options with excellent attention to detail and a good sense of judgment.
  • Ability to work efficiently and proactively, think clearly and solve tasks accurately and with confidence under pressure.
  • Flexible and amenable to working on shifts. On-call including weekends, holidays and overtime if needed.
  • With a quiet place at home away from any disturbance, a laptop, a smartphone, and fully running Wi-Fi connection (3mbps or higher)

Sigrid.AI has a co-working office in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig where VEAs and management meet twice a week at the minimum.
