As an individual contributor, responsible and accountable for various classes of project cost estimates from conceptual stage to control stage
Conceptual estimates to evaluate various alternatives and support economic evaluations for the business decisions.
Authorization estimates utilizing historical data with appropriate installation factors, site specific factors for final authorization and execution purposes
Liaise and interact with the Project team for appropriate and timely inputs to support the quality and timely delivery of estimations.
Participate in estimate reviews with project teams to ensure scope consistency.
Evaluates project deviations in order to provide data to project steering team for proper decision making
Works with cost management to assure alignment between estimate and cost management baselines.
Completely comply with the discipline work process and aligned to Discipline Activity Specialist for accuracy and quality of deliverables.
Support and lead company’s various initiatives and organizational goals towards the best portfolio management.
Responsible for the personal safety and to comply with the safety norms of the company.
Familiar with other Engineering Discipline Knowledge and its MTO

Technical Skill Set
Having a high-level overview and visualization of the complete life cycle of a project.
Comprehensive knowledge all aspects of Engineering (FEL to DD), Procurement, Construction and Commissioning practices for Small and Large Projects.
Able to read and analyze PFDs P&IDs and other project relevant engineering documents.
Experience in construction practices of green field and brownfield projects, including shutdown in Chemical /Petrochemical or Oil & Gas Industries.
Knowledge of Schedule Management, Cost Management, Cost Tracking Methodology and Risk Analysis techniques in projects.
Knowledge in contracting and outsourcing guidelines, accounting practices and Scope Change Order Process.
Knowledge of projects at different geographies / locations and the project execution methodologies and best practices around the Globe.
Minimum than 10 to15 years of Post qualification experience in Project Cost Estimation complied with acceptable Estimating Methodologies.
Bachelors / Master’s degree in Engineering.
Certification in Estimating Tools, like Aspen Capital Cost Estimator (Icarus/ Kbase)
Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (like MS Excel and MS Presentation)
Fluency in in English (written and oral communication)
Associate/member of any renowned Cost/Estimation Institutions (Optional)
Six Sigma Green Belt certification / Project Management certifications (optional)
