As a Programmatic Specialist, you will support the Programmatic Manager with the management of Kayo Sports’ programmatic campaigns including implementation, optimisation and generating meaningful insights for the wider Acquisition Team. The bulk of this position will see you engrossed with campaign execution, set up, optimisation and analysis, across display, mobile, social, video, native and rich media.
Technically, you will need to be proficient with the Adobe stack, managing campaigns in Adobe Ad Cloud and DV360 to a lesser extent. You will also be comfortable with trafficking all types of media with different ad servers, such as Flashtalking. You will be savvy working across Adobe Analytics and Adobe Audience Manager on the Mar-Tech side.
This position would suit a Junior Trader, with knowledge of “Supply Path Optimisation” tactics. The role will interface with a selection of partners across the supply chain from publishers, SSP and tech vendors, but also horizontally in all areas of the Kayo business, including Data & Analytics, Product, Editorial, Technical and the broader marketing team.
Your purpose
+ Day to day implementation, trafficking, optimisation and pacing of 100+ sports events based programmatic campaigns.
+ Executing and delivering those programmatic campaigns across display, video, mobile and OTT.
+ Keep track of budget pacing and optimise budget and bids towards set targets.
+ Reporting and analysing early post launch campaign activities, providing actionable insights, data patterns and trends and relate this back to the impact on the business.
+ Escalate and report issues & challenges to the Programmatic Manager, in a prompt manner.
+ Managing the creation, implementation & management of pixels
+ Ensuring that the correct audience segments from a DMP are deployed in DSPs.
+ Providing audience segmentation recommendations to the data team.
+ Using multiple consoles to pull data for use in statistical analysis and generate insights and optimisations on audience and media delivery.
+ Follow the campaigns’ structure hierarchies and taxonomy, as briefed by the Manager.
+ Managing the day to say SPO in accordance with top line acquisition strategy in place.
Your capability
Technical Experience
+ 2+ years of Programmatic campaigns and wider media trading, preferably with experience in the digital subscription-based models.
+ Prior experience with Display, Video and Mobile DSPs
+ Good understanding of ad networks, exchanges and/or auction marketplaces
+ Experience with trafficking digital ad campaigns in different ad servers and troubleshooting tracking issues.
+ Ability to pull reports and extract compelling actionable insights rapidly, from both ad platforms and Analytics ’ones
+ Understand ad serving and account structure hierarchies
+ Analytical to spot trends and commercially savvy to seize opportunities
+ Knowledge of DTO tools and how to integrate dynamic creatives in wider programmatic campaigns.
Wider Marketing Experience
+ Advanced quantitative analytical skills and aptitude including intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
+ Strong software use skills including in-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and aptitude to quickly learn new tools.
+ Ability to work to tight deadlines in an agile environment whilst working across multiple teams is a must.
