M.S. - Master of Science

Job Summary: The Speech-Language Pathologist in our long-term acute care setting serves medically complex, vent-dependent, complex wounds, orthopedic, brain injury, SCI and neurologically impaired patients. Facilitates restoration of function and prevention of disability for patients with rehabilitation needs and/or physical disabilities by planning and administering medically prescribed speech therapy.

Minimum Education Requirements : Graduate from a Master's degree program in Speech-Language Pathology required.

License/Certifications : Certificate of Clinical Competence from American Speech and Hearing Association and licensed by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. CFY candidates may also be considered. CPR certification required at time of hire, or within 90 days from date of hire.
