Job Description
Insight Global is looking for a hands‑on SQL‑focused developer who works primarily at the data layer, supporting data transformation, cleansing, and preparation within SQL Server environments. This role is not a reporting‑only position — strong SQL programming experience is mandatory.
Day to day
- Writing and maintaining complex SQL / T‑SQL code
- Developing and optimizing:
- Stored procedures
- Views
- Tables
- Transforming, cleaning, deduplicating, and preparing data within SQL Server
- Moving and structuring data for downstream reporting use
- Working within a SQL database / data warehouse environment
- Supporting reporting teams by providing clean, structured data
- Supporting Power BI / Tableau reporting

Skills and Requirements
- 5–7 years of hands‑on experience
- Strong hands‑on experience with SQL Server / T‑SQL
- Proven experience writing stored procedures and SQL logic
- Experience working with data warehouses or SQL databases
- Data transformation and cleansing experience in SQL
- Comfortable debugging SQL logic and handling data quality issues
- Exposure to Power BI and/or Tableau
- Exposure to Snowflake or modern cloud data warehouses
- Familiarity with ELT / ELT concepts and Azure data platforms
- Awareness of Microsoft Fabric or modern BI ecosystems
- Experience supporting enterprise or multi‑source BI environments
