We are currently seeking a highly skilled SQL Specialist / Data Engineer to join our growing Data & Analytics practice, working on complex migration, reconciliation, reporting, and automation initiatives across large enterprise environments.
This role is ideal for a hands‑on engineer who thrives in highly technical environments and enjoys solving complex data challenges through advanced SQL engineering, ETL development, and automation‑driven delivery.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Design and develop complex SQL scripts, stored procedures, data models, and reconciliation logic across enterprise datasets
- Lead end‑to‑end data migration and reconciliation reporting activities for large‑scale transformation programs
- Build and optimise ETL pipelines using SSIS and/or Azure Data Factory (ADF)
- Develop scalable and automated data processing solutions to improve operational efficiency and reporting accuracy
- Build enterprise reporting dashboards and visualisations using Power BI
- Support testing activities including data migration testing, reconciliation validation, test data preparation, and reporting
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, delivery teams, and customers to ensure successful project outcomes
- Drive continuous improvement and automation opportunities across the data engineering lifecycle
- Contribute to overall project delivery, ensuring timelines and customer expectations are achieved
What We’re Looking For:
- 5+ years’ experience within Data Engineering, SQL Development, or Data Analytics environments
- Strong hands‑on experience with enterprise SQL platforms, preferably Snowflake, including data modelling, transformation, and analytics workloads
- Expert‑level SQL development and complex scripting capability
- Strong hands‑on experience building ETL solutions using SSIS and/or Azure Data Factory (ADF)
- Experience working within cloud‑based analytics and modern data platforms including Snowflake and Azure ecosystems
- Strong understanding of enterprise data migration and reconciliation processes
- Experience developing Power BI dashboards and reporting solutions
- Exposure to automation concepts and process optimisation initiatives
- Strong understanding of testing principles including reconciliation testing and data validation
- Excellent stakeholder communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work across multiple streams within fast‑paced enterprise delivery programs

- Experience within Banking, Wealth Management, or Superannuation environments
