Join the Coram/CVS team as a Sr. Assistant, Customer Quality and you will support the Phoenix, Hilton branch with patient account management. In this role, you will maintain communication and workflow between patients, branches, Sales staff, Insurance Verification team, and referral sources, helping to ensure new patients are receiving excellent care while on our services.
As a Sr. Assistant, Customer Quality, you will…
• Verifies insurance eligibility and benefits of patients.
Obtains verbal/written authorization for medical treatment from appropriate sources.
• Contacts patient to advise them of the order placed on their behalf, confirm all patient demographic information, communicate any financial responsibilities and/or additional information necessary for processing the order received, and promote Company product and services as appropriate.
• Processes information received from intake/service personnel.
• Ensures proper selection of information online to ensure timely delivery and appropriate revenue recognition for order.
• Maintains appropriate documentation received with
order and conducts follow-up as applicable
• Resolves patient/customer complaints by identifying
problems and coordinating appropriate corrective
action
• Complies with and adheres to all regulatory
compliance areas, policies and procedures, and best
practices
• Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned
This is a full-time, permanent, benefited position and is NOT through an agency. Typical work hours for this role are Monday – Friday, 8:00AM – 6:00PM, and rotating weekend shift, with an opportunity for over-time per business need.
Required Qualifications
• Minimum two years of related experience
• Strong service orientation and customer service attitude
• Effective verbal and written communications skills
• Excellent detail orientation and time management skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft business software
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience working with healthcare insurance
• Experience with medical terminology
• Experience working in a pharmacy setting
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Ability to work with a sense of urgency
• Strong attention to detail
• Customer Service Skills
• Experience in Call Center Environment
Education
Verifiable High School diploma or GED is required.
