Align seeks to enhance the way we empower our sales team, scale up the sales team to sustainable growth, better support and influence our dental customers and patients to fully leverage and benefit from the digital transformation of the dental industry. To that end, Align is seeking a Senior Manager that can be based in any of the following countries: France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Spain, Portugal, UK. 

As Sr. Manager Sales Excellence for Core Market (France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Spain, Portugal and UK), GP Channel, you will report into the Sr Director Commercial Excellence EMEA.

In this role, you will…

  • Own and lead the Sales Force Effectiveness strategy and execution in the countries as part of the Core Market, GP Channel, including initiation of projects to address strategic objective
  • Deliver EMEA wide Sales Force Excellence strategy, and localize it for the Core Market, GP Channel.
  • Spend 20-30% of time leading a number of EMEA-wide SFE processes and strategies and share best practice across EMEA region.
  • Spend 70-80% of time focusing on the unique needs in Core Market, GP Channel.
  • Partner with the Core Market GP Channel commercial and operational team.
  • Support and partner with key stakeholders among country General Managers, Marketing Directors, channel marketing leaders, regional corporate functional leaders to drive cross functional collaboration.
  • Lead sales process optimization and improvement in areas including but not limited to customer activation, product and solution adoption, customer segmentation and sales enablement programs, sales commission, sales planning operating rhythm.
  • Lead the change management to empower the sales team to transform dental clinics from analog to digital. Drive the close collaboration between Invisalign and iTero.
  • Partner with other sub-teams in Commercial Excellence including sales training, data and analytics, program management office and sales operations to support the commercial team to reliably execute and continuously create commercial capacity.
  • Coordinating different roadmap projects between GMs, PMOs and other key stakeholders
  • Be working in a fast-paced, high growth global matrix environment, where speed is often preferable over perfection.

In this role, you’ll need …

  • Experience in the areas of sales management, commercial excellence, sales operations, sales force effectiveness.
  • Understanding and empathy with the sales team in the best practice of supporting and empowering them to success and sales growth.
  • To influence and support senior sales and marketing leadership in moving strategic programs to reliable execution in the field sales team.
  • To be curious & analytical. You will use sales insight to solve problems in a sustainable way with a strong process mindset.
  • Excellent persuasive communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with all levels of the organization. You will be able to clearly present business and technical issues, ideas, and recommendations in verbal, written, and presentation formats, by means of storytelling and/or logical arguments.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Management, Economics, Finance, or related fields
  • 8 + years of experience of which minimum of 5+ years of sales management, sales operations, commercial excellence.
  • Experience with sales force effectiveness, sales operations, sales management.
  • Experience with managing stakeholders across marketing, sales, finance, HR, legal, IT and other corporate functions.
  • Experience with process optimization, continuous improvement to enable creating capacity and reliable execution.
