Role Description:
COO track-eligible role functions as the lead Operating Executive for AIM’s
suite of clinical appropriateness, provider selection, and provider and member
engagement programs and services.
SVP of Specialty Health Management is responsible for effectively directing and managing
the end-to-end provisioning, fulfillment and execution of a portfolio of
in-bound and outbound care management and member service delivery teams, both
in-bound and out-bound, including utilization management, case management, disease
management and other clinical program operating models.
duties include:
Ensure successful development, operational
readiness, and client-responsive implementation of solutions to meet customer
needs in desired timeframes.
Ensure successful execution of AIM client
and business and account goals through end to end operational
oversight of department.
with clinical program leadership, solutions development/management and other
key groups to guidemajor cross-disciplinary initiatives
that involve the strategy, design, mobilization and deployment of solutions that support delivery of clinically appropriate, quality, safe and affordable
healthcare benefits and services.
and implement a structure and process for continuous, repeatable and
systematic process redesign and programmatic improvements.
on internal and external quality and provider committees.
Hire, train, coach, counsel and
evaluate performance of direct reports.
in leading and directing the activities and large-scale and broad-scope care
management programs & operating units
with health plan and care management systems, advanced telephony/omni-channel
technology & business processes, and the advanced data needs and means required
to operationalize for scale, efficiency, responsiveness and resiliency.
and success in designing, building, launching, and operationalizing new
clinical management programs and products.
in go-to-market planning and sales/marketing/implementation support externally
with clients
10 years of management experience with
significant large-scale operations in the health care industry including 5 years
of experience leading multi-state, multi-lines of business including large
programs and multi-disciplinary teams; BA/BS degree in a relevant field or any
combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent
background. MBA, MS or other advanced degree preferred.
