Digital State Sales Manager
Location: Pyrmont

We’re searching for a State Digital Sales Manager at MCN to be responsible for creating and implementing strategic sales plans to achieve the highest possible margins and profitability for the business and execute the overall digital sales strategy for the business.
You will lead and grow digital revenue for the business across Foxtel from existing and new digital clients and business development opportunities, in coordination with the relevant stakeholders.
Your purpose
+ Develop the strategy for the sales team to identify and sell unique digital sponsorship & advertising solutions to clients and digital agency planners/buyers
+ Cultivate and develop relationships with all key digital agencies and advertisers and ensure the business is effectively positioned in market versus competition
+ Manage revenue targets to deliver budget which is consistently delivered by the sales teams
+ Manage the publisher portfolios on budget delivery, commercialisation of assets, day-to-day stakeholder requests and industry and market education
+ Develop and deliver brand strategies utilising our portfolio of broadcast and digital assets
+ Challenge and evolve digital pitches from cross-platform teams, improve digital sales skills and consequently grow digital revenue
+ Approach new markets to explore & exploit digital opportunities and identify key categories to target for growth for the relevant digital platforms
+ Leading a team of Account Managers to deliver on KPI’s
Your capability
+ 7+ years minimum experience of selling Digital Sponsorship Sales across entertainment and sport rights/media products
+ Strong understanding and extensive experience in local and/or national digital sales and major market sales experience
+ Clear understanding and experience in all media, especially emerging digital platforms
+ Significant experience with digital products and creatively driving revenue from custom solutions and ad inventory sales
+ Strong negotiation, strategic planning, organization, business development, internet and computer skills
+ Experience working directly and programmatically with agencies/agency trading desks to a high level
+ Experience with digital business development (creative and partnership based digital revenue)
+ Active in industry trade and networking events with great relationships and contacts with premium clients and to management level at agency networks
+ Highly motivated, proactive, dedicated and creative, and with strong attention to detail
