About the Role...

We are currently looking to recruit a State Sales Manager to lead the residential HVAC sales team in South Australia and the Northern Territory.  Reporting to the General Manager - Australian Residential Sales & Service, the position is based at our Head Office in Lonsdale, Adelaide. This is a pivotal role and a rare opportunity for an outstanding Sales professional to lead and manage the existing business while identifying opportunities for further growth.  With the customer at the heart of everything we do, you will also ensure our service standards meet the high expectations of our customers and dealers. This role will involve regular travel within South Australia and the Northern Territory.

About the person…

This position requires an individual with a track record of success who can lead and motivate their team to achieve above average results in a competitive products market.  You will have an impressive track record of planning, negotiating and managing sales success preferably in the residential HVAC sector.  Proven experience in developing relationships and influencing key stakeholders is essential. 

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Lead and develop a successful residential sales and service team.
  • Identify new business initiatives and develop sales strategies
  • Build strong, credible relationships with dealers, builders and wholesalers.
  • Drive sales to achieve revenue targets and increased market share for the regions
  • Monitor performance of existing dealers against set targets and budgets
  • Raise brand awareness and develop marketing strategies to attract new wholesalers, builders and dealers while maintaining the existing client base.
  • Support Seeley International at Trade Shows, Exhibitions and product launches
  • Utilise and ensure accurate information is maintained in the CRM system
  • Produce accurate monthly reports for Senior Management
  • Ensure national customer service activities align with customer needs and business objectives.
  • Identify and investigate product improvement opportunities
  • Collect dealer feedback and conduct market research

What you'll need to be successful…

  • Extensive Sales management experience within the HVAC industry
  • High level of commercial acumen
  • Excellent negotiation and influencing skills
  • Well-rounded presentation and communication skills
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding financial targets through sales strategy development and implementation
  • Sound understanding of marketing and promotion to drive customer enquiry
  • Personable, adaptable and results focused.
  • Tertiary qualification in a relevant field is desirable but not essential.
  • A valid driver’s license
