The Procurement department is responsible for all IT and non-IT procurement activities as well as for the license management of Allianz Technology France and Benelux. Within the Procurement team the Strategic Buyer Infrastructure will be responsible for the
strategic procurement activities for infrastructure, like hardware and network items and related maintenance services used in Allianz Technology France and Benelux with the tasks described below.


Negotiate advantageous terms and conditions, create significant value to stakeholders for cost effectiveness, flexibility and efficiency

Implement strategies in line with the Group

Develop and implement strategies for cost optimization, supplier consolidation, standardization, service delivery / quality improvements and process efficiency

Strive to meet the mutually agreed Procurement targets contributing to the overall budget targets

Support the procurement team in all stages of the process (from business demand to payment) with strategic procurement tasks

Realization of stakeholder management to maximize total cost of ownership savings and Procurement’s value contribution

Act as point of contact for the business to collect and manage business sourcing demand and assure business requirements are met

Negotiate IT and non-IT contracts with support from Legal

Lead tender (RfX) execution and drive fact based negotiations


Higher education degree in a technical or business field or comparable discipline

Relevant work experience in a procurement or related role

Experiences in infrastructure / IT hardware / network spend category

Applying negotiation and financial analysis skills

Knowledge and understanding of relevant contracts, agreements and suppliers

Ability to carry out tasks independently in non-standardized (ever-changing) work situations

Competence to exchange complex information with diplomatic tact and to cooperate with a diverse internal and external audience
