The Strategic Planner is the main support for day-to-day requests on strategic needs, is responsible for managing several projects while contributing to the development of overall communication strategies. The role is also meant to delivering compelling research, insights and ideas while coordinating projects along with transversal teams to ensure brand and projects’ objectives are met.
The Strategic Planner will be running its own initiatives being a team player and supporting the Director of Strategy & Customer Engagement to deliver on client expectations.

The Strategic Planner is an experienced-level position that will have the opportunity to learn & grow within the team. Typically, the Strategic Planner will be managing up to 10 requests at a time from different brands while being exposed to the full brand cycle and learning of different aspects of the strategic process and digital integration across the pipeline.

Strategic Planners that demonstrate experience and ownership of key projects, understand the business dynamics of their current accounts and demonstrate insightful and impeccable execution can evolve towards a senior strategic role.
Drive marketing and communication strategy as an expression of broader brand strategies, developing tactical campaigns across email, web, search, media, and social (as well as emergent technologies)
Lead the multi-channel and communications planning on key accounts to help build brand experiences, connected across the user and customer journey
Collaborate with the Director of Strategy & Customer Engagement to provide insights from HCP and patients from a broad range of therapeutic areas, media use and potential opportunities for users and brands in the pharma/healthcare/wellness environments.
Act as strategic planning/customer experience champion internally.
Strategize and architect communications plans for a diverse portfolio of brands, across emerging and established markets, and guide agency teams during definition-brief-design and development phases.
Partner with internal teams to distill insights, and build comprehensive strategies that include customer journeys, mapping messaging, tactics, and campaign blueprints.
Develop content and sequencing strategies based on user insights and understanding the markets dynamics.
Review and audit established plans to help understand the gaps and opportunities in a multi-channel marketing system
Support Director of Strategy & Customer Engagement in providing internal consulting (agency + client) when crafting channel-specific recommendations (e.g., best practices, emerging trends)
Stay up to date on digital, technology, and behavioural trends and contribute to knowledge sharing across the agency.
Balance of business acumen and technical advertising-strategy knowledge.
Customer-first mindset, with a strong focus on the technology-enabled user
Comfortable doing social listening, desktop researching, defining, and executing against customer experience journeys.
Proactive, with excellent collaboration and an ability to identify opportunities across brands, campaigns, and markets
Adept at driving cross-functional teams while managing complex stakeholder relationships (agency + client)
Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage, influence, and inspire stakeholders (agency + client) to drive collaboration and alignment
High degree of organization, individual initiative, and personal accountability
Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years developing strategic initiatives, tactical plans, and marketing ecosystems in an agency or in-house role
Understanding of industry market conditions and trends: pharma, healthcare, and/or wellness.
Demonstrable experience doing social listening and insights research (preferable Crimson Hexagon, Brandwatch or Sysomos MAP).
Experience driving/tracking growth through KPIs in domestic and global markets.
Established background in digital channels (web, social, email/CRM, search) including monitoring and assessment using data/analytics tools (Google Analytics, Adobe, Tableau)
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
