Job Purpose: 

  • Develop and deliver the consumer strategies (FMC+NC) facilitating the formulation of the marketing strategy development in Indonesia.
  • Support product development team in generation product insights that drive consumer relevant product strategy development.
  • Ensure the consumer analytics capability is fit-for-purpose to support informed, faster decision making.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Step change in providing high quality insights and reporting to drive organizational step change
    • Shift paradigm from data provider to insights provider
    • Proactive structured approach required to feed into business to support the quick decision making.
    • Ensure the integrity of insights and its integration in the decision making process
  • Continuous analysis of consumer and market trends to distil and drive effective Marketing Strategy development
  • Lead Insight generation for New Categories creating group standard
  • Support Product Development team in PSD and consumer aligned product strategy development.
  • Increase the focus and yield of marketing investment via supporting the strategic planning and decision making process through an actionable understanding of consumer
  • Close management of Agency Partners, coordinating consumer analytic projects and analysis, ensuring that agency partners develop an appropriate, cost-effective high quality work
  • Lead deployment of Project Spectrum and associated agency and project management changes
    • Correct application and compliance of relevant methodologies, systems and protocols under umbrella of Project Spectrum
  • Effective and Efficient Budget Management.
  • Develop high performing team with clear development plan, build a qualified and capable team, ahead of the game by setting the pace for greater marketing with peers in analytics team
  • Lead change align with Ho Market Analytics on delivering business simplification journey driving automation and organizational self-sufficiency .

Knowledge, Skills & Expertise

  • A marketing or business administration degree from a reputable university. Master’s degree is required. Degree in Maths/Economics preferable
  • Have a minimum 5-10 years of experiences in a marketing role (preferably have had experiences in different functions in marketing) within a reputable multinational FMCG company, of which 4 years in a managerial role
  • Familiarity with Strategic and Operational Marketing processes, i.e. how brands and business is developed and managed on a regular basis
  • High level of commercial business aspects and decisions
  • Should be comfortable in presenting business ideas to senior management. Has a very good common sense with structured way of thinking and ability to translate/communicate his/her thinking into a clear structured story
  • High self- confidence and good communication skills in engaging with senior stakeholders
  • Pro-active person, who is assertively seeking answer to his/her question
  • Resilient, willing to go extra mile, positive attitude, and openness to feedback
  • High integrity and honesty

  • Supervise relationship with information suppliers ensuring quality of data
  • Work with software application developers to ensure highest quality of systems when applicable
