The IT Strategy Manager defines, maintains and monitors Allianz Partners (AzP) perspective, position, plans and patterns with regard to its IT services. You will work to assist with the management and delivery of those services with the support from the internal Allianz Technology team and external Service Providers. You will establish a holistic view of the current business and IT environment, the future direction, and the initiatives required to migrate to the desired future environment.
Current challenges include: Understand business cases and define IT integration strategy for Allianz Partners (AzP) entities which are not part of the ACM B2B2C transformation and future M&As. Create a tight partnership with key LoBs, Functions and Transformation Office. Define the IT strategy related to: convergence with ITMP, B2C/B2B pricing strategy, management of health data, front-end strategy, new interaction channels strategy (chatbots, voicebots, call-center).
Future challenges include: Adjust the AzP IT strategy in close partnership with the Transformation office, LoBs, Functions and in alignment with Allianz Group IT strategy. Define iteratively the future IT evolutions to meet the business transformation strategy by bringing new technology/ market trends aligned with Allianz IT standards.
Develop a strategy plan which consists of objective(s), principles and tactics relating to use of IT capabilities and technologies.
Responsible for close alignment of the IT strategy to the business strategy by performing a strategic assessment of the current state in order to generate and document overall IT strategy
Perform a recurring internal and external environment analysis to refine and validate defined strategy
Ensure that overall the IT strategy is communicated and understood throughout the organization as well as with the Allianz Technology (AzTech) team.
Validate and define strategic initiatives in order to implement the defined IT strategy
Perform continuous monitoring and reporting against the execution of the strategy
Where necessary, define and drive innovation that supports the implementation of the strategy
Translate Allianz Group IT strategy into AZP specific IT strategy, and perform prioritization and budget review processes in order to implement the strategy effectively
Coordinate the identification and assessment of new and emerging hardware, software and communication technologies, products, methods and techniques. Evaluate likely relevance of these for the organization and provide regular briefings to staff and management.
Ability to understand complex technical information and communicate effectively at all levels to both technical and non-technical audiences
Understand the implications of new technologies
Perform highly complex work activities covering technical, financial and quality aspects
Leads the formulation and implementation of IT strategy
Interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
Excellent written, presentation and interpersonal skills. Ability to communicate complex concepts in simple ways
Independently follow-up with stakeholders to aid in solution development
Stakeholder management: ability to influence, guide and build relationships at a senior level within AZP
Demonstrates excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Demonstrated relevant experience in IT Leadership
Preferred Multi-Year Experience as Architect (e.g. Infrastructure or Enterprise Architect)
