Job Summary:
The Supply Chain Director plays a critical role in leading the supply chain operations for Argentina. This leadership position requires a seasoned professional with extensive experience in supply chain management, including foreign trade and logistics. The Director role´s mission is to ensure the provision of necessary inputs, services, and raw materials, as well as the delivery of finished products according to customer agreements.
Responsibilities:
• Plan, control, and organize Supply Chain activities for the Trivium Argentina plants to ensure the provision of an efficient and continuous value chain (avoiding any interruptions) to achieve established business objectives. Manage and lead the S&OP process and production planning for both plants.
• Manage the company's Foreign Trade activities to guarantee the correct execution of the importation of international inputs or machinery and the exportation of finished products to foreign destinations.
• Conduct the company's Purchasing and Service Contracting activities for the provision of purchases (productive and non-productive) and services to the Trivium Argentina plants, achieving the best cost-quality equation.
• Oversee the company's Logistics operations to ensure the correct execution of logistics and storage activities within the facilities to achieve proper inventory management and control of stocks and their consumption.
• Design an appropriate distribution strategy considering the facilities of Trivium, suppliers, and customers to guarantee the flow of materials throughout the entire chain, increasing its efficiency through transportation management activities (adaptation, convenience, cost reduction)
• Supplier Management: Establish and maintain strategic partnerships with key suppliers and vendors. Collaborate with suppliers on continuous improvement initiatives.
• Continuous Improvement: Drive a culture of continuous improvement within the supply chain team proactively identifying opportunities to optimize processes, enhance capabilities, and drive operational excellence.
Qualifications:
• 10+ years of progressive experience in supply chain management or a related field, with at least five years in leadership roles. Experience in a manufacturing environment, especially in automotive production or mass consumption is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management or Industrial Engineering Master's degree preferred.
• Proven track record of successfully leading and managing a team to achieve supply chain objectives.
• Proactive, results-oriented, and self-motivated. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills. Ability to lead and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights and strategies.
• Fluency in oral and written English is a must to perform the job.
Work Environment:
Role is located in Pilar, PBA and requires ability to travel locally and internationally.
