ISS Supply Chain & Procurement has an ambition to take the next step in its journey, maintaining its current strategic edge (a strong focus on procurement savings) while effectively transforming into a front-office function driving outcomes making a difference to ISS’ key accounts.

ISS Pacific are seeking Expressions of Interest for a Head of Group Supply Chain & Procurement to assess the current functioning of the Supply Chain & Procurement function, and subsequently step-change its strategic impact through transformative and inspirational leadership, in close collaboration with the Head of Operations Performance, the Head of Group Supply Chain & Procurement, the Regional Supply Chain & Procurement Director and stakeholders within e.g. the Country Leadership Team.

The preferred location for this role would be Perth, Western Australia.

The outcomes to be delivered include:

• Achieve year-on year increased savings, reaching a point which is proportionally at least 33% higher compared to the function’s delivery today by 2023
• Securing that 90% of ISS’ material suppliers are risk-assured
• Drive on-site operational efficiencies via our closest supply partners, as we roll out group-wide efficiency improvement products in Pacific

Implementation of a series of strategic enablers will be required to unlock above-mentioned outcomes, including supply chain risk management, Procure-to-Pay driven by Coupa, co-development with supplier partners, supplier-enabled innovation, supply chain diversity and supply chain sustainability.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver the desired outcomes and develop a clear roadmap within 12 months detailing the required organization, systems and processes to achieve Group and Pacific targets.
• Develop a sourcing program ensuring yearly visible progress on execution
• Establish a “Preferred Supplier Program”, targeting a reduction of 80% of ISS Pacific’s current supplier base
• Maximize utilization of ISS Group’s global suppliers
• Secure free cash flow improvement program
• Support the commercial team and mobilise/transition supply chains for new customers
• Provide supplier assurance: ensure proper vetting, qualifying, contracting, onboarding, performance-management and auditing of at least 90% of our critical suppliers
• Develop internal procurement portal
• Promote the collaboration with our closest supplier partners
• Act as business partner to ISS’ key account teams
• Provide rigorous management of department-level cost- and FTE-budgets
• Day-to-day management and leadership of the SC&P team
• Secure close and proactive alignment with Group Supply Chain & Procurement,

To be successful you will need to demonstrate:

• Transformative leadership
• Strong business acumen, with ability to assume responsibility for buying decisions
• Strong achievements within procurement savings delivery, payment term improvement drives and general cost-out programs
• Proven track record coupling transformative leadership- to people skills
• Experience from international matrix environments
• Delivery of at least one wide-stretching Procure-to-Pay system implementation
• Thorough understanding of supply chain risk management principles
• Strong performance in delivering in line with customer needs (internal and external)
