Ecolab is seeking a Supply Planning Analyst to join its Supply Chain team. This role is an opportunity to join a global company that is a leader in sustainability with a strong safety-driven culture and is recognised as one of the most ethical companies in the world.  This exciting new role has been created to optimise and maintain master data to support an effective supply plan for the ANZ region. The role has three focus areas:

  • Use analytics to optimize planning parameters and network design
  • Develop and maintain supply planning tools and reports
  • Maintain regional supply chain master data

In this role you will contribute to supply chain’s goals of maintaining excellent service level while minimising inventory and cost. You will be responsible for optimising and maintaining planning master data such as safety stock, economic order quantity, replenishment strategy and network design. You will support regional supply planners by optimising planning processes such as supply reviews and product transitions. You will create reports and dashboards to provide supply planning input to Sales & Operations meetings for the ANZ region where key leaders can make data-based decisions.

To excel in this role you will need superior analytical skills with the ability to communicate well with a wide range of audiences, including senior managers. You will be a creative thinker who enjoys developing new tools, reports and methods. You will guide the ANZ supply chain through complex scenarios with simple, clear recommended actions.


  • Degree qualified in Business/ Supply Chain Management/Engineering/Science or related field discipline or at least 2 years supply chain planning or analytics experience
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to effectively communicate analytics to make sound business decisions
  • Methodical approach to tasks with high attention to detail
  • Autonomous decision making
  • Sound understanding of how supply chain master data impacts planning, service, inventory and total delivered cost
  • Time management to balance analytical projects with routine reporting and master data maintenance
  • Advanced MS Excel knowledge
  • Familiarity with ERP’s and planning tools such as SAP, Masterpack, JDE, JDA, FST and BI are desirable
  • VBA and SQL knowledge desirable but not essential
