Short Description: L2 engineer to support the Small to Medium scale, multi-dimensional, complex environment. The purpose of this role is to ensure that our Customer's Monitoring and Back-Up systems are monitored at all times to ensure availability of all services correctly in a constantly changing IT environment. You are responsible to provide technical support with high degree of Customer satisfaction by meeting Service Level Agreements (SLA) and process compliance.

Roles and Responsibilities:
•Support Microsoft SCOM 2012, 2016 and/or 2019 and related technologies
•Manage Windows Server technologies in local and wide area networked environments
•Creating and supporting SCOM Management packs
•Support Windows Server SOE for 2008 R2, 2012 R2, 2016 and 2019
•Troubleshoot and fix any monitoring systems related issue(s) in conjunction with Systems team and external vendor(s)
•Set-up of standard monitoring for new production servers.
•Removal of monitoring services on servers which have been decommissioned
•Provide support for the Windows Server infrastructure including planning, installation, configuration, testing, troubleshooting and problem resolution
•Deployment of servers within a Standard Operating Environment
•Produce documentation, processes, procedures and reports in line with Departmental documentation standards.
•Provide technical advice to clients.
•Analyze technical processes and provide advice for service improvement.
•Knowledge of Windows Server and Active Directory Services.

Skills /Competencies:

Essential:
