Job Summary

The Supervisor of Customer Planning and Logistics is part of the customer and aircraft owner administrative support team, based at Cirrus headquarters in Knoxville, TN, responsible for supporting the customer/owner experience for Cirrus Aircraft. The Supervisor of Customer Planning provides resource planning for all Flight Operations activities. Responsibilities include managing the schedules, preparing and shipping customer training materials, and coordinating with the Flight Operations and Flight Instruction Team. In addition, the Supervisor of Customer Planning and Logistics will review and confirm invoicing and billing for customer training as needed. This role is process improvement oriented and well versed in basic Microsoft Office Software. The Supervisor of Customer Planning and Logistics must be enthusiastic in fostering Cirrus aircraft owners in the Cirrus Life™ training experience.

Duties and Responsibilities/Essential Functions

Essential Duties:
+ Be a role model for world-class flight training and culture
+ Implement and manage the Cirrus TSA management system
+ Monitor and comply with the periodic TSA inspection requirements
+ Implement and improve a record keeping system in concert with the Flight Operations Department
+ Be a liaison for written and verbal internal customer communication and oversee the flight training schedule
+ Conduct budget tracking, implementation and department analytics
+ Schedule customer training events and prepare itineraries for customer use
+ Monitor and manage flight training team schedules
+ Maintain business-critical customer training records for every training event. Audit flight instructor records to ensure that reports are filled out completely and without error
+ Ensure a safe, efficient, and fair schedule for Flight Operations pilots, taking into account extended training missions, weather limitations, aircraft availability, vacation requests, and other factors.
+ Work closely with Delivery and Ownership Team Advisors to schedule customer training and accommodate date changes requested internally or by the customer.
+ Overview processes to confirm flight instructor activity records and expense reports, ensuring that Cirrus receives payment for services provided and receives reimbursement for incidental expenses
+ Locate and hire contract pilots where needed to provide coverage and process associated charges
+ Coordinate with accounting to allocate internal charges associated with the addendum and Cirrus Experience
+ Oversee all processes with regard to Cirrus-managed aircraft
+ Scan closed files and archive
+ Identify, compile and maintain various metrics

+ 4 years of experience in business administration/customer service role
+ 1 year or more of experience leading a successful team, 3 or more years preferred
+ Associates degree or higher in business administration/customer service field, 4-year degree preferred
+ Experience in General or Commercial Aviation in aircraft and schedule management
+ Aviation Business experience preferred
+ A working knowledge of aviation/aviation administration preferred
Additional Knowledge, Skills, or Abilities:
+ Strong customer service and interpersonal skills required
+ Ability to work with other departments and outside vendors
+ Ability to plan, design, execute, and supervise organizational processes to support customer service in a dynamic environment
+ Experience with Transportation Security Administration administrative processes and procedures preferred
+ Well versed in standard Microsoft Office Software as well as Adobe suite
