Job Description

The Role:
 
The Systems Analyst role enables the Service Delivery Team to deliver more effective and efficient, sustainable, secure and reliable customer centric services from the Technology group.  The role’s focus is on quality and process improvement including contributing to project initiatives that underpin the Service Delivery function, including the building and embedding of ServiceNow.
Your primary objectives will be to:

  • Assist in the implementation, embedding and success of ServiceNow;
  • Engage stakeholders to map current processes;
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and create innovative solutions;
  • Support and provide expertise across infrastructure systems and applications;
  • Identify data quality issues and rectify to generate single source of data truth to support decision making;
  • Work closely with Technical Services and other Infrastructure teams within the IT department;
  • Provide mentoring to IT Service Desk and Desktop Support colleagues; and
  • Build practical and relevant reporting processes which give insight into various metrics.  

Skills Required:

  • 5+ years demonstrable experience working within or providing supporting and process improvement in a Technology Service Delivery function within a corporate environment;
  • Proven experience with Operational Frameworks (ITIL), software and hardware asset management, auditing practices and process mapping;
  • Proven experience in administering ServiceNow platform or other Enterprise ITSM systems;
  • Ability to pro-actively identify areas of improvement and implement change through to completion;
  • Ability to develop, document, implement and continually evolve operating policies, processes and procedures;
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, customer service and negotiation skills with the ability to accurately articulate technical incidents and business impact into clearly understood everyday language for broader distribution;
  • Strong documentation, analysis and reporting skills; and
  • Experience with Agile delivery practices. (Highly regarded)
