About the role

The purpose of the Accounting System Consultant is to provide both technical and functional support to the business in relation to Public Trust's core system (NavOne) and it's system interfaces.

The position will work closely with both business and technical customers to contribute to the overall improvement of the business unit and organisational performance achieving greater business efficiency through identifying, modelling, analysing, developing and facilitating the implementation of improvements to the business process and systems.

The successful candidate will use their analytical and communication skills to understand and document user requirements for business change initiatives as well as having technical understanding of the configuration of NavOne and Fee Protect.

What we need from you

  • Minimum 5+ years commercial experience as a business analyst or technical/ functional support in an Accounting or Financial environment
  • Experience in NAV (desired) or a medium sized ERP system
  • Strong understanding of Accounting concepts and practices
  • Demonstrated effective analytical skills
  • Proven knowledge/ experience of systems development lifecycle and methodologies
  • Experience in gathering and documenting detailed business requirements for business solutions.
