We are looking for an experienced System Engineer to play a key role in building the next generation of mobile networks. You will be part of a team made up of the best and brightest engineers in the industry, passionate about making the promise of 5G a reality today.
As a System Engineer you will lead the development of new features from customer requirements analysis through to development and delivery. During feature development, you will be collaborating with our partners in network operators and Ericsson offices around the globe.
You will be at the cutting edge of development in the area of mobile data use cases in the packet core. Our team develops features for traffic analysis, extraction of key performance indicators, optimization of video streaming, congestion analysis, threat detection and mitigation and more. We employ machine learning, data analytics and neural networks techniques.
You will be a fundamental to bringing the business and customer value and needs to the development teams while at the same time communicating to the product owners the high-level aspects of the solutions, identifying dependencies and risks.
You will be encouraged to roll up your sleeves and code prototypes and proofs of concept to demonstrate your ideas to our internal stakeholders and international customers.
You will have the opportunity to work side-by-side with the thought leaders of the industry and to contribute to the evolution of international standards in 5G and beyond.
You will be encouraged to be an inventor, with coaching available from our experienced patent authors who have made our Madrid offices a key contributor to Ericsson´s intellectual property portfolio in 5G.
