We are seeking to hire a Software Quality Assurance Engineer to join our collaborative, high growth organisation located at our office based in Lane Cove, Sydney, Australia.
The Software Quality Assurance Engineer will impact the organisation by developing complete solutions through detailed requirements analysis, writing documentation, planning the architecture and test cases. Work in a fast-paced environment using embedded Linux platforms to build high-performance, high-quality telecommunication solutions.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Management of product requirements within the Engineering and Research teams (collection & analysis, system solution design and conformance testing).
Co-ordinate the gathering of system level requirements, including key stakeholder engagement with Product Managers and Technical Account Managers.
Primary responsibility for ensuring all system level requirements are covered by test cases both Manual and Automated.
Engage with internal engineering validation teams to; review, approve, execute test cases and ensure test quality alignment.
Co-ordinate external engineering resources to meet project timelines within technical scope.
Ensures that the system requirements are captured and kept up-to-date.
Clearly communicate design decisions to the internal and external development teams.
Ensures automated testing is planned during concept and architecture phases of product design and in advance of the development phase.
Ensures that the implementation of hardware, software and interface design meets all requirements.
Interface with vendors for solution design, function verification and standards compliance conformance testing.
Support sales and marketing activities such as RFP, RFI from an engineering perspective.
Tertiary qualifications in a relevant engineering field (electronics, software, computer science, etc.).
5+ years of working within a product development team, including electronics/software design and development.
Expertise in telecommunications theory and standards.
Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
Self-motivated with effective time management.
Interest in learning about new technologies.
Good understanding of computer networking concepts.
Mandarin / Cantonese language skills highly desirable.
