Understanding key workloads in the data center space is a Micron imperative, in order to improve current products in the deep-memory and storage hierarchy (DRAM, HBM, GDDR, 3DXP, NVMe), develop new software solutions for the ecosystem, study how different workloads perform on the memory/storage products both in isolation and in concert, and bring about a total value proposition to customers based on efficiently utilizing several Micron products. To this end, a successful candidate will have the opportunity to contribute to the analysis of how compute-intensive, data-intensive, database, virtualization and Artificial Intelligence (AI) workloads perform on the Micron product portfolio, develop performance models and benchmarks, create reference system architectures, and develop software solutions for the entire ecosystem.
