For our Design Center team, we are currently looking for a
Systems Engineer High Voltage – DCDC
The ideal candidate will be responsible for design and build hardware of power electronics converters for use in automotive and energy storage applications. Develop electrical architecture proposals in response to customer requirements. Start to finish ownership of hardware – from specification to design, prototype, reliability validation and high-volume manufacturing. Collaborate with mechanical, PCB layout, and firmware engineering teams to successfully to design, validate and manufacture power converters. Architecture and modeling of new power converter topologies that achieve better performance. Lead analytical planning and execution for proposed electrical architectures utilizing tools such as PSPICE, PLECS, MATLAB, LTSpice and other tool sets. Ensure global simulation teams deliver accurate results. Develop plans detailed working packages and schedules. Lead interaction with key suppliers by providing necessary technical information (Gerber, ODB++, Analytical results, test results, etc.) Ensure interfaces are clearly defined with other engineering sub-teams; such as Mechanical engineering, Software & Controls, and Systems engineering. Set priorities and manage deliverables for the Electrical Engineers supporting the given project.
