To further strengthen our team at "HENSOLDT Ventures Xpeller", we are looking for a "System Engineer Xpeller (f/m/d)" at our site in Ulm as soon as possible.
The department develops the drone defense system Xpeller for civil and military applications. Xpeller integrates and uses a wide range of sensors for detection, tracking and countering of drones such as RADAR sensors, EO/IR cameras and RF/DF sensors from both the HENSOLDT portfolio and external manufacturers and is controlled by HENSOLDT's own C2 software CxEye.
Collaboration in designing, specifying, testing and delivering system solutions for Xpeller
Active participation in new product enhancements/introduction of new technologies, providing system level input from product definition to production release
Providing technical design solutions to support proposed system changes and offerings to ensure appropriate compliance to the requirements of customers, businesses and legal demands, especially including security
Preparation of product specifications and participation in customer meetings
Technical support for our sales and marketing teams, including the provision of information to support proposals and technical presentations
Maintenance and support of delivered systems including on-site visits if necessary
The willingness for international business trips is assumed.
Degree in the field of systems engineering, electrical engineering, communications engineering or comparable
Extensive practical experience and knowledge in product development, engineering, change management, systems engineering and quality control systems
Several years of experience in multi sensor system design and with acceptance tests and performance analysis
Several years of practical experience and knowledge in at least one of the following areas: RADAR technology, software engineering, radio frequency, communication systems or electro-optical camera solutions
Verified professional experience in the integration and demonstration of sensors and/or systems with subsequent acceptance by customers/end users
Verified experience of sensor integration in different platforms
Experience in system engineering, practical application of quality assurance and configuration control, and corresponding documentation
Independent, structured and customer-oriented working style
Friendly and confident appearance and strong communication skills
Fluent German and English skills
