What you will do:


  • Advise product and business teams on non-functional (performance & load) requirements.
  • System capacity planning at different dimensions (max tenants, max data, max concurrent sessions, etc.)
  • Building, optimizing and maintaining an efficient and robust system performance regression test suite.
  • Work with performance focused Architects and Technical Leads to develop highly scalable and performant software solutions.
  • Perform load tests to validate system performance and stability.
  • Perform stress tests to understand system limitations and drive improvement.
  • Profile and improve performance of web applications, mobile apps, APIs and services.
  • Coordinate with DevOps, Developers, QA and Architecture to realize performance improvements.
  • Provide technical assistance to improve system performance, capacity, reliability and scalability.
  • Perform root cause analysis of performance issues and suggest corrective actions.
  • Oversee system performance lifecycle and identify key metrics for performance improvements.
  • Generate periodic performance reports for management review.
  • Automate as much as possible the whole performance testing process.
  • Update and maintain performance test suite/benchmark to protect us against performance regressions.
  • Reduce significantly the duration and impact of long running processes.
  • Reduce the latency of our web applications.


What you should have:


  • BS in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience.
  • 4+ years working hands-on in a Software Engineering position.
  • Experience as Performance Engineer.
  • Experience in JMeter and other performance/profiling tools.
  • Proficient in performance testing techniques.
  • Previous knowledge of API performance testing would be advantageous
  • Strong understanding of SQL Database.
  • Knowledge of the following is advantageous:

.NET Core / C#

MS SQL Server

Azure

Mobile Programming Languages (Swift, Java, Kotlin)
