Job Summary

Due to growth in demand for our services we are currently recruiting for enthusiastic, established individuals at all levels to join our Electricity Transmission and Distribution (T&D) practice across the UK and Ireland. Our T&D practice has a well-deserved reputation with FTSE100 and Fortune500 clients in the electricity utilities, generation developers, demand developers, infrastructure owners and operators of high voltage power assets. Our work provides clients with greater confidence in decision making, design, planning and operation of their current and future assets. The practice works across a wide range of sectors including transmission and distribution utilities, renewable developers (solar, wind), datacentres, water utilities, industrials and manufacturing.

About our roles

The successful candidate(s) will manage project teams to deliver a range of feasibility and design projects for HV infrastructure clients, multi-national firms and cities as well as supporting senior leaders in the practice and the wider Power business unit. We work from a range of our UK offices and are proud to have our Freedom to Grow programme which supports flexible working.

Minimum Requirements

Previous experience with consultancy, contractor, developer or utility in the energy sector. Experience in one of the following:

  • HV/EHV primary (FEED/feasibility) or secondary design including substations, cables, OHL, HVDC, P&C or

  • Experience working on UK (National Grid, SSE, SPEN) or Irish (EirGrid, ESB, ESBI) energy projects or

  • Experience working on renewable generation/datacentre projects in UK or Ireland or

  • Experience working with OEM doing HV equipment (e.g. transformers, CBs etc.) or

  • Any project management, commercial and/or client facing experience related to the examples above will be highly appreciated or

  • Owner’s engineer experience of in the electricity and power sector.
