Reporting to the Head of Talent Management, the Talent Development Manager will be responsible for supporting the design, development and delivery of talent management and engagement initiatives across Glanbia Ireland. This role will provide a great opportunity to engage in the strategic deliverables of Talent Management, Engagement and Culture, and in doing so, support the delivery of the overall Glanbia business strategy.
Proactively collaborate with HR Business Partners across GI to diagnose talent development needs and design, develop and deploy talent development initiatives to support function/category business needs.
Diagnose, design, develop and/or support learning for early career talent including Growing Glanbia Leaders, Leading the Glanbia Way and other interventions as appropriate.
Support ongoing learning for all our people by leading the development of key capabilities across the organisation. Manage Glanbia Ireland’s Growing Together Learning Series, Thrive, Lead and Keynote.
Create best practice talent development and learning solutions through embracing innovative technology and practices.
Support the development of career development for our people and build an approach to individual development planning.
Support The Coaching Leader evolution.
Participate in external forums such as Skillnet.
Optimise effective execution by managing the gateway for the release of Talent and Engagement initiatives to the business.
Working with the Employee Communications Manager, devise best ways to communicate our talent and engagement priorities across the business.
Support the development and execution of culture change programmes/initiatives relating to, for example, well-being, diversity and inclusion, sustainability, recognition etc.
Assess impact and effectiveness of learning and other engagement interventions through survey, focus groups and other means.
Minimum of a third level qualification in a relevant area. Professional membership of a relevant body, e.g., CIPD is desirable.
8+ years previous experience in a similar role focused on talent management or OD within a multinational company.
Highly competent in the use of talent management strategies, processes, frameworks and tools for development.
Previous experience in mentoring and coach leaders at all levels.
Vendor Management experience of interacting with and managing service providers, venues and other third parties in the organisation and delivery of programmes and events.
Excellent business partnering capability coupled with strong commercial acumen.
Energy and passion to influence at all levels, with peers and senior stakeholders coupled with excellent communication and facilitation skills.
Strong project management, planning, process and policy definition capability.
Proven ability to work collaboratively and independently.
Ability to work positively with ambiguity
