Job Description

As a Human Capital Consultant within our Talent line of business, you will work with Senior Consultants and Directors to help client organisations improve how they attract, retain and engage talent. You will be responsible for developing and implementing innovative and practical solutions across a range of human capital activities, including career architecture and competency frameworks, organisational design, team and leader effectiveness, culture assessment, transformation and employee experience.
To be succeed in this role, you will need strong business acumen along with confidence to interact with key client contacts, work in teams and build a trusted advisor status. You will focus on helping clients through understanding issues and shaping solutions, bringing new perspectives to their problems and accessing the power of our global network of thought leaders.
The Role
+ Work with senior consultants and directors to develop and implement solutions including career architecture and competency frameworks, organisational design, team and leader effectiveness, culture assessment, transformation and employee experience
+ Provide practical insights into how best to motivate and manage the workforce of today and plan for the workforce of tomorrow
+ Manage small to medium projects and client expectations, raising appropriate issues to Senior Consultants/Directors when required
+ Contribute to new business development by developing proposals and statements of work, project plans and budgets involving multiple workflow streams and client teams
+ Partner with analysts to review work and provide guidance and insight
+ Meet personal sales and billable hours targets
+ Develop technical knowledge and skills in a range of HR functional areas, our consulting frameworks, thought leadership and HR technology
+ Build relationships internally and collaborate effectively on cross-functional teams
The Requirements
+ Proven experience in project management and sales/business development in a consulting environment
+ Experience in a broad range of human capital consulting domains including organisational design, career frameworks, competency design, leadership assessment, culture and employee experience
+ Experience with job analysis, understanding of jobs, job families and job architecture preferred
+ Understanding of agile principles and design thinking
+ A professional presence with polished and well-developed facilitation, written and oral communication skills
+ Experience facilitating, coaching and mentoring teams specifically to drive consensus, brainstorm and/or to gather data for a project(s)
+ Demonstrated ability to build relationships and networks
+ An ability to recognise and diagnose issues, work in teams, and leverage the resources of other related practices to address client challenges
+ Ability to draw conclusions from data in a logical, systematic way
+ Bachelor’s degree (advanced degrees preferable) in Human Resources, Business, Psychology/Sociology, Industrial/Organisational Psychology or any other major with significant qualitative and quantitative course work
+ Located in Sydney (preferred) or Melbourne
