Baker Tilly KDN LLP is looking for an experienced, motivated, and client driven individual to join our tax services team. We are seeking two(2) candidates to assist us in providing clients with tax planning opportunities and researching and resolving complex tax related issues.   Our tax group offers an outstanding environment to continue to develop your tax career by providing exciting opportunities while working in a collaborative and supportive group. 

Your primary responsibilities will include:

While working on the In-Depth Tax Course your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Providing assistance to Partners and Managers on tax planning assignments.
  • Participate in special engagements.
  • Research tax issues and prepare memoranda.
  • Liaising with tax authorities on audits and requests for information.
  • Preparing and presenting technical sessions for staff.

A successful candidate will have:

A successful candidate will have:

  • Completed the In-Depth CPA Tax Course or the motivation to pursue the In-Depth Tax Course.
  • Previous experience in a public accounting firm with at least two years tax season experience.
  • A CPA designation.
  • Sound technical knowledge of Canadian tax related issues.
  • Strong understanding of a client-focused environment including related deadlines and the ability to work to meet those deadlines.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills.
  • Strong work ethic and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
