Goodstart Early Learning Salisbury North is situated in Adelaide northern suburbs, is located right in the heart of one of the region’s fastest-growing suburban areas. Out of the way of all the hustle and bustle, our centre is still convenient enough to take the stress out of the daily drop-off and pick-up.
Caters for 90 children, catering to all early learning age groups from 6 weeks to 5 years. The centre is open from 6.30am to 6.30pm, Monday to Friday.
Salisbury North is a multicultural suburb with numerous community facilities which provide support, care and education to migrant families.
The centre works to provide children and their families with a safe and challenging environment while offering early-intervention strategies to assist children who might be at risk or disadvantaged. The centre’s approach is an all-of-community one, working within the Enhancing Children’s Outcomes (EChO) framework. The centre actively involves families, educators and the wider community in shaping the learning environment through continuous reviews of their current practices and programs.
Hold a Bachelor of Early Childhood or equivalent qualification (ACECQA approved)
Hold a current SA Teachers Registration
Hold a current First Aid qualification
Full time fixed term role, within the 20 place Kindy Room.
Role commences March 2021 through to late Feb 2022 – View to commence earlier and possibly move to permanent
Plan innovative and engaging learning experiences
Champion positive and meaningful relationships with children
The ideal person will have some understanding when working with children who have experienced trauma and be committed to their learning journey

Assess children’s learning and development and apply pedagogical expertise to inform curriculum decisions
Maintain and apply expert knowledge of the National Quality Framework

Build and maintain strong, positive relationships with families, children and the centre team
Model effective application of pedagogy in teaching practice
Contribute to a professional and positive work culture
