About the Role

Goodstart has a new exciting opening for a passionate Early Childhood Teacher in our vibrant Kindy room, who can build and sustain strong relationships with children, parents, and the local community. You will be responsible for planning innovative and engaging child initiated curriculums using the Early Years Learning Framework and Queensland Kindergarten Guidelines, incorporating both indoor and outdoor environments, sustainability, and local excursions.  We welcome full-time or part-time applications for the position!

Goodstart Early Learning Child Care Centre Dalby is located in the heart of Dalby, three hours west of Brisbane. Our central location allows for easy access to local shops and super markets. The simplicity of our location provides convenient collection for busy families.
Our 74-place centre provides care for children aged from 6 weeks to 5 years. Throughout the centre you will observe 5 rooms. These individual rooms provide opportunity for children to engage with children of similar ages and development. With programs planned according to their needs and interests.
 
Presented within a church, the centre is split into two buildings catering for segregated infant/toddler and 3-5 aged care. Outdoors the children of our centre practice care and respect as they explore a range of natural materials within our environments including vegetable and flower gardens, recycling of food scraps for our chickens and worm farm, collaborative play within our yarning circle sensory play within our mud pits, and quiet spaces that allow children to connect with nature.

Your role/requirements

• Full-time or part-time permanent 
• Set shift 
• $5,000 annual bonus - for delivering an exciting and innovative Kindergarten program
• Studying towards or hold Bachelor of Education/Early Childhood or equivalent ACECQA approved qualification deeming you as an Early Childhood Teacher (ECT) or ‘actively working towards’
• Hold a current Blue Card or alternatively an Exemption Card with QLD Teachers Registration
• Hold a current First Aid qualification
