• Develop sound UX concepts, including the definition of customer needs, task analysis, and the creation of personas, storyboards, scenarios, user flows and use cases.

• Work directly with prospect users and merchants to design end-to-end experiences using participatory and iterative design techniques including observational studies, customer interviews, usability testing, and other forms of qualitative and quantitative research to uncover insights, learn about user behaviour and verify design concepts

• Facilitate user’s product visions by researching, conceiving, wireframing, sketching, prototyping, and mocking up user experiences for our AlipayHK app.

• Identify design problems and devise practical solutions.

• Translate concepts into wireframes and mockups that lead to intuitive user experiences.

• Design and deliver wireframes, user stories, user journeys, and mockups optimized for a wide range of devices and interfaces.

• Make strategic design and user-experience decisions related to core, and new, functions and features.

• Work closely with development teams to ensure that design specifications are implemented.

• Collaborate effectively with multiple functional teams, including product managers, researchers, business development and marketing colleagues.

• Responsible for building the User Experience Team and people development.

Job requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in interaction design, industrial design, computer science, psychology, human factor or equivalent education or experience.

• 6+ years of interaction design experience in designing web/mobile products or financial products.

• Sophisticated in mobile app development process from scratch to post-launch user experience monitoring.

• Had successful experience in launching a mobile app in HK market

• Proven track record in translating business targets into user experience designs

• Be user-centric, always put user value as the top priority in the design process

• Excellent communication skills, cross-team collaboration skill and ability to make compelling and clear design presentations for varied audiences

• Having a keen eye on the design trends, front-edge technologies and designs.

• Native in Cantonese, fluent in English and Mandarin.
