We are seeking candidates who are interested in joining the Westhaven talent pool for Team Leaders within our Adult Services division. This is a great opportunity for you to be considered for a Team Leader or other similar roles that may come up in Westhaven over the next 12 months. Ongoing and temporary employment opportunities may be offered. This talent pool is to be used for positions located in Dubbo, NSW.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the daily operations of support services, including the supervision and support to Support Workers
• Provide direct assistance and support to adults with a disability.
• Establish and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders including clients, families and guardians.
• Assist will rostering of Support Workers
• Undertake administrative duties including but not limited implementation, review and maintenance of individual service agreements.
• Provide On Call Services as required.

Skills & Experience

• Minimum degree or diploma in Community Services, Youth Work or similar, or equivalent experience working with children and people and their families in a community services environment.
• Demonstrated leadership, coaching and team management skills.
• Strong understanding of trauma and its impact on the development and behaviour.
• Demonstrated ability to be adaptable to changing circumstances and organisational requirements, and contribute to the needs of a rapidly expanding service.
• High level of written, verbal and computer-based communication skills, including high level negotiation skills.
• Current Driver's licence
• Current First Aid Certificate
• Current Working with Children Check, NDIS Worker Check Number and a Criminal Records Check obtained within the last 6 months.
• Completion of the 'NDIS Worker Orientation Module" https://training.ndiscommission.gov.au/login/index.php

Holding a current Working with Children Check, and NDIS Worker Check number and completing a National Criminal History Record Check clearance are requirements of this position.
