Asset Management has an exciting leadership opportunity within the MRP team for a six month secondment.  In this role you will be responsible for leading the interiors MRP team in their delivery of interiors material requirements, with on-time material purchasing at the best value proposition to Air NZ, with high levels of accuracy and planning.

This role requires experience with SAP in material purchasing.  Your communication skills will be on show as you engage with your key customer, the Fleet Interiors and Planning teams, on their requirements and work through the various challenges associated with fulfilling AirNZ's aircraft interior requirements. 

Your interactions will also involve leadership conversations with external vendors, hangar, BPG and our Freight providers.  A large part of this role is stakeholder management, working closely with the Programmes Team on new interiors projects, EIS and EOL.

Focus areas are:

  • Demonstrating collaborative leadership in carrying out this role
  • Utilising your SAP experience and operational material acumen to lead your team, to achieve transparent and on-time material delivery for our customers.

You will be a self-starter who has a positive approach to what you do in your day to day work life and someone who enjoys communicating and working effectively with cross functional groups. Your communication style and ability to connect with people to find solutions will be a key success factor.   You will be a person who thrives on a challenge, is organised and can deliver what is required with due diligence to process.
