Job Summary The Opportunity
AECOM’s Structures team is looking for a Team Leader to support a range of building-related projects for a broad range of clients on local, regional and national projects.
You will be involved in all aspects of the project lifecycle - from preparing proposals and presenting to clients, through to managing resources and budgets to ensure timely project delivery. You will collaborate with teams across our business lines and technical disciplines and provide support to our junior engineers.

Minimum Requirements
About You
To be considered for this role, you will possess the following:
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in building structures, ideally in a consultancy
  • Tertiary qualification in structural engineering
  • Excellent knowledge and competency in structural building specification and design
  • Demonstrated skills in managing projects and budgets to meet time and resource requirements
  • Capable of working independently and collaboratively as part of a team
  • Clear and concise verbal and written communication
  • Solid experience with NZ codes, including seismic design and assessment is essential
  • Chartered Engineer status will be a distinct advantage

  • Chartered status is highly desirable
