Job Description
This position is responsible for screening orders, research and review of prescription overrides, accurately and efficiently reading, interpreting and entering prescriptions into the computer system in a timely fashion, and/ or thinking through and solving escalated prescription issues. Through your skills and knowledge, you will offer solutions needed to help simplify the customer health care experience. Areas of focus for Pharmacy Technicians may include outbound calls, inbound calls, entering patient and prescription information into our system, and faxing physicians for prescription clarification, substitutions, and formulary changes. To help support development and maximize workflow, you will be asked to perform other pharmacy functions as required. Potential to work at home after 6 months.

Required Qualifications
Must have an Open Arizona Pharmacy Technician Trainee License or Open Arizona Pharmacy Technician License
Must have a minimum of 3 months experience as a pharmacy technician
Preferred Qualifications
6 months or more of customer service and/or call center experience
Education
Verifiable High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
