The position of the "Technical Support Admin & Engineer" includes the following administrative and technical tasks. The planning and execution of service processes, the development of service offers, the assumption of tasks, accounting and logistics as well as the maintenance and repair of ZOLL Medical resuscitation products.



Admin Fuction:

  • Order processing / Order entry
  • Invoice creation / Invoice processing
  • Service entry and exit inspection
  • Spare Parts Administration / Purchasing / Procurement
  • Customer Care / Meeting and exceeding customer satisfaction targets
  • Company corporate related correspondence
  • Warehousing, packaging, shipping
  • Incoming and outgoing mail, franking
  • Inventory support
  • Notification of special incidents according to MPBetreibV to the supervisor
  • Close cooperation with other European Tech Service departments and Headquarters
  • Guaranteeing that all requirements of ZOLL Corp and partners are met in a timely fashion
  • Supporting the development of processes for continuous improvement in quality in the own area of responsibility
  • General Service administration

Technical Functions:

  • Fault finding and repairing ZOLL devices at board level and below
  • Performing regular maintenances on ZOLL devices
  • Executing STK / MTK´s according to MPG / MPBetreibV
  • Performing input and output quality checks
  • Making sure all tasks are done well on time, minimizing overall TAT (turnaround times)
  • Accurate documenting of fault findings, creating of detailed service reports
  • Tracking of activities in the Complaint Management System database
  • Handling of incoming customer calls and inquiries
  • Building strong relationship to Sales, Customer Service and Business Partners
  • Managing and minimizing customer complaints and ensuring they are satisfactorily closed
  • Hands-on contribution to day-to-day output of department
  • Ensuring that all legal and regulatory requirements are met in a timely fashion

Required/Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Successful graduation (at least “Fachabitur” or “Abitur”)
  • Technician or Engineering grade or equivalent experience ( Schwerpunkt Elektrotechnik )
  • English skills for both oral and written communication purposes
  • Willingness to learn and open-mindedness

  • Driver's license class B


  • Excellent knowledge and proven skills in Electronics & Mechanics
  • IT equipment, networking competences (e.g. MS Office)

  • General knowledge of all engineering disciplines
  • Strong technical knowledge of resuscitation equipment
  • Strong knowledge of local laws and regulations for medical products, focus on MPG / MPBetreibV, EN 60601, EN 62353 etc.

  • To maintain an up to date knowledge of all ZOLL products in the Tech Service portfolio
