Level 4 Network Architect Profile To be a single point of contact for the technical tower in front of the customer management and as an individual contributor, participate in analysis, design, and implement solutions, by identifying the risks in terms of bottlenecks, end of life systems, possible security threats related to the design & architecture. Initiate discussion with the end customer for a network driven project, gather requirements and provide overall network solution proposal with High Level Design (HLD). Work with the client's technical & engineering team, get network designs technically approved, implement solutions, test end-to-end services and take business signoff. Prepare bill of material (BOM) as per requirement and approved solution, raise purchase request/order and coordinate with vendor to ensure right hardware is being procured. Designing the network architecture using standard and industry best practices as per the Bank's requirements. Routing: Static/floating routes, IP RIP, EIGRP, OSPF, BGP, Configuring GRE, WAN QOS, Cisco IP SLA, policy based routing and redistribution. Switching: VLANS, STP, Rapid-PVST, Inter-VLAN routing, HSRP, VTP, Trunking, Etherchannel, Virtual Port Channel (VPC), Cisco Nexus Switching (3K, 5K, 9K), Fabric Extender(2K, 9K), High-Availability, LAN QOS VPN: Site-to-Site IPSEC VPN, Remote Access VPN, DMVPN, GRE over IPSEC VPN Planning, Installation and configuration of network devices that consists of Routers, Switches, Firewalls, NMS tools and Wi-Fi devices from different manufacturers mainly Cisco and some cases Avaya or Brocade etc. with minimum downtime and 0% outages. Interactions with various application owners, security departments of the Bank and TAC teams of several OEMs while handling the deployment or migration of Data center, Campus, Branch, ATM & Business-to-Business networks. Proactively work with OEM to identify EOL (End of Life) & EOVS (End of Vendor Support) devices in network, procure right hardware keeping network compatibility in mind, formulate remediation & downtime plan and timely replace the devices to ensure all the associated security and compliance risks are mitigated. Coordinate with ISP, Clients & Onsite technical team for new MPLS, Leased Line, Point-to-point, Point-to-multipoint, Dark Fiber and other links/circuits deployment and ensure links/circuits are error free, latency is within agreed SLA, and stable before taking handover. Create and maintain documentation related to network configuration, policies, procedures, service records and low-level architecture design diagrams. Ability to transfer business needs to technical solution. Build subject matter expertise in the area of specialization. Drive service improvement programs. Present weekly and monthly status reports to higher management. Participate in business meetings with various stakeholders. 3-5 years of experience in managing banking enterprise network. Hands on experience multiple network tools like Netinfo, Infovista, TCP-Wave, Netbrain, Jira, HPNA, Pixel & Service now. To work well as part of geographically distributed team. Ensure proper handover and communication among different regions Asia Pacific (ASPAC), Europe Middle East & Africa (EMEA), North America (NAM), Latin America (LATAM) and Mexico Region. L3 Complex engineer Profile Administration and Management of LAN & WAN (Network Domain) across globe as a part of Global Network Project Implementation Team based on the Projects assigned. Implementation and configuration of Network devices which consists of Routers, Switches, NMS Tools & Wifi Devices from different manufacturers (Mainly Cisco & some cases Arista etc.). Configure / Implement Network Devices as per the hardening Guidelines & as per particular Project requirement. Work with the client's technical & engineering team, get network designs technically approved, implement solutions, test end-to-end services and take business signoff. Prepare bill of material (BOM) as per requirement and approved solution, raise purchase request/order and coordinate with vendor to ensure right hardware is being procured. Troubleshoot Network & Security related problems in a particular Project based on the Project scope defined. Implementation of Network Infrastructure for new campus, branch, ATM & 3rd party infra with appropriate security levels and redundancy as per the requirements. Implement new infra setups with connectivity varying from MPLS connectivity, Client to site VPN, Site to Site VPN (Router based). Coordination with ISP, clients and onsite technical teams for P2P, MPLS, VPN and other links for new implementations and troubleshooting connectivity issues. Validating the technical feasibility of the network design plans for customer/Enterprise networks submitted by the design team and provide appropriate suggestions as required. Knowledge & exposure on (not limited to) NMS Tools, Routing Protocols such as OSPF, BGP, etc., MPLS Configuration (VRF Config), Switching Protocols, STP, QoS, etc. CCNP Equivalent Certifications with around 8 years ‘experience.
