Technical Lead - QA

Lead QA will be responsible in the planning, monitoring, and control of the testing activities.

He / she will be responsible for

• Estimating the test efforts
• Estimating the resources
• Identifying the areas of automation wherever appropriate
• Preparation/review of test plans
• Preparation/review of test cases
• Execution of tests
• Reporting of defects
• Preparation of test reports

Will leverage automation tests in testing activity and develop and contribute to automation framework (mobile + web).

Will upskill team in test automation and metrics driven testing processes.

Need to have a thorough understanding of the processes. Should be able to drive testing assignments end to end perspective (Test Estimates, Preparing test strategy and Plan, resource monitoring, audits/reviews, Test Governance, Team management, Identifying and raising risks, validatind test scope and provide recommendations, Leveraging reusable components, providing test reports, identifying test metrics)

He/She should be able to drive innovation, involve himself in creating proactive test proposals and respond to the RFPs.

Requirements

• 8+ years of outstanding track record in Software with web services & E commerce testing -Manual and automation experience ( min 2 Years of combined experience in automation using Selenium WebApi/Katalon Studio/Appium)
• Experience with testing API and the Soap Rest based web services using SOAPUI.
• Experience in Mobile test Automation or exposure to Mobile testing.(using Appium)
• Demonstrated skill with web & mobile application testing procedures, techniques, and tools, including test planning and case writing. (including compatibility and responsive design Testing).
• Experience on Web content management / eCommerce Testing.
• Good knowledge of QA methodologies, procedures documentation.
• Good writing skill for technical documents.
• Collaborative development in a team environment.

Strong analytical and problem solving skills with innovative thinking in resolving both technical and business problems.
